Ok well i don't normally put up the same design twice if i redesign parts of it but in this case i've changed the whole middle section as it's more in keeping with the rest of the design i think.

Anyway this is the agreed final design so thought i'd share this with you guys. Thanks for looking :thumbsup:

Well, I know that I like the style here. :3

It is very awesome on many fronts here and there's hardly anything I can point my finger at. And I just love how you've used normal clothing icons (the branding iron among others, as well as what temperature to wash at) are used.

But there are two things...

On either side of the "Featured Projects" section there's a row of squares colored orange/red/darkbrown/buff/white. What are these for? Changing background color?

The "twitter," "rss" and the last one there have a bit of "out-of-character" feel though against the rest of the design.

Ok the 5 blocks of colours on either side of the featured projects bits are just the basic colour swatch i used to create the site and thought it added to the kind of "grungy, handmade" feel by sticking it there.

I do see what you mean about the icons on the top right. Personally i don't feel there is enough of a clash to remove them but i will ask a few more people about them to get a general opinion about whether they should be adapted or moved all together.

the problem with those icons is that they seem really important at the moment and well... let's face it, they're not that much... who cares about rss/twitter? everybody has that anyways
you might want to consider moving them to the bottom or something, and put something more important in their place (or even: nothing at all)
It kinda spoils the artistic feel of the overall site...
